Hi to all friends. So, we go to Kiev again.
The tournament is held together with the National Poker Federation of Ukraine and that is why it is called the Spring Cup of Ukraine.
Friends, we do not stagnate and always add different novelties into our favourite game. This time the RPT program will be varied, exciting and full of interesting tournaments.
We decided to include several new tournament formats. See yourself:
MAIN EVENT $2500 (2300+200): Guarantee $400,000! We continue to create tournaments with big guaranteed prizes: Stack is 30,000, 60-minutes levels in the first day and 75 minutes in the next days.
Expected number of the participants: approximately 250. Smooth distribution of the prize fund, without huge differences. 8! big satellites on the Main, including 2 in the format ($250 1RorA) on place.
The Main Event begins on Friday in the evening, May 13 and goes on till Monday. Many of the business people will be able to come on weekend to Kiev.
And on Monday, May 16, we will know the names of the winners. I remind you that on the previous stage the winner were the citizen of Kiev Aleksey Kovalchuk and the first prize was $123,456!
CRAZY GRAND EVENT $900 (820+80): stack is 15,000, levels are 60 minutes each. The Grand Event of the RPT turned out to be a very interesting tournament from the first attempt. We decided to add solid excitement in May to the Grand Event.
The format of the Crazy Grand was taken from PCA. It was held on the Caribbean Islands this year and had a success. Many of our players told us with inspiration about participation in it.
Now we all common people can taste this format, those who were absent on Caribbean. What is so special? Now in the Crazy Grand Event you will get $500 each for every player that you knock out!
That means that you need to knock out 2 players to become in the money. Usually less than a half of buy-in is given for knock out itself in Knock Out tournaments. Here we have more than a half. You can even not reach the prize zone but earn more than the winners due to knocked out players. Expected number of participants/entries is approximately 400.
The Crazy Grand Event will include 2 entry days. If you are knocked out in the first day or picked a stack that does not suit you or you want to earn more by knocking out others, then you can register in the second day (the same way like before that). The tournament promises to be very interesting, still there was nothing like that in the CIS.
RUSSIAN HEAD’S UP BATTLE II $700 (640+60): stack is 7,000, levels are 20 minutes each. I remind you that at the previous stage we decided to make Heads Up due to numerous requests of the online players. There were much more volunteers to participate than we expected that is why we announce CAP 64 – this is the maximum number of participants in the second Heads Up battle. This means that only those will play who will register beforehand. Another pleasant change – the game will last till 2 wins from the second round. This will allow to minimize the factor of luck.
HOLDEM OMAHA 6 MAX $440 (400+40) 1R or Addon: stack is 10000, levels are 40 minutes each. Another our novelty – mixed games tournament will be held for the first time in the Russian series!
The most popular among them: Texas and Omaha are now in one tournament and this will happen on short tables in the 1 Rebuy or Addon format. The tournament promises to become symbolical.
Cash Games: Every day and 24 hours a day 10-15 tables for any preference and with limit from 1/2 of Omaha to 50/100 of Seven-carded.
Participants: Participants from all regions of Russia, Ukraine and the CIS, as well as from Europe will be waiting for you.
Structure of the tournaments: Our structure differs from all other tournaments, even side events at the RPT are held using balanced and deep structure that allows to play poker and not lottery. We are the first ones, back in Russia they started to hold tournaments with deep and smooth structure, this tradition is preserved even now.
Satellites: This time a big number of satellites of different formats wait for us, with different buy-ins. Approximately 30-40% of participants of the Main Event will get there exactly through satellites.
Online satellites will begin soon.
RPT Party: No one can organize such parties except us) Those who have seen it will agree. Special night party in the best nightclub of Kiev. A sea of alcohol and beautiful girls in a jolly company of friends. There is an idea to arrange 2 parties: the first one in the nightclub and the second one in the strip bar or karaoke)
RPT Paintball ?attle: The paintball tournament had a success at the last stage. Bullets and bruises didn’t scare us and again we will continue shooting our poker opponents on the best paintball area of Kiev.
Participation in the tournament is free, high dosage of adrenaline is added.
Accommodations:
Hotel “Rus”, where the tournament will be held, is located in the very centre of Kiev, on the Hospital Street 4. “Rus” is a wonderful hotel and not expensive at the same time. They provide discounts for the guests of RPT. The price of a standard room is 65 Euros including the discount.
An additional hotel is also available – 5* “Premier Palace”. The price is 150 Euros for the players.
As always, Kiev is ready to propose you a huge number of apartments that are for hire daily. The price is approximately $40 a day.
We also provide visa support for foreign players and journalists.
